“Slim” is a category of classes that are carefully chosen for those who want to gradually develop physical fitness and health.

It includes Foam Rolling for Flexibility, Barre, and Lighten Up classes.

Classes Description

Foam Rolling for Flexibility

Improve your flexibility through conditioning exercises, self-massage, and stretches. Students will become familiar with elementary anatomy through these methods. This class is appropriate for those with physical limitations whether due to age or athletic strain.

Barre

Every time you feel your inner ballerina or ballerino needs attention and expression, do not hesitate to come to class and let it out. Great toning, energizing and happyfying. All “levels” are welcome!

Lighten Up

Utilizing her musical background as a classically trained pianist and B.S. from UCLA in Ethnomusicology, Dhyana is the creator of “Lighten Up”, a musically-themed and specialized fitness class designed for students of all ages and fitness levels for the purpose of exercising, having fun, and connecting with self and others. “Lighten Up” links high/low calisthenic interval training, abs/core, integrative dance, corrective exercise science, and a yoga-stretch cool-down. Each class features a specific country, region, artist, or genre of music playing pulsating rythmns and tantalizing dance beats from around the world. “Lighten up” is a place where you can knock off your socks, move at your own pace, and transform the heavy in your life to your natural state of lightness. Dhyana encourages you to follow your body’s intuition and to exercise with awareness, mindfulness, and intention. With her devotion to living spiritual principles, passion for fitness, enthusiasm for dance, and education in world music, Dhyana invites you to shed the weight. “Lighten Up” and Let go!

“Sane”

“Sane” – take the ”Slim” program and add mindwork to it. More yoga, more of silent meditation and going inside to check on the mind and balance the emotions.

You will also be advised on your personal meditation practice. Classes include Gentle Awakening- Yin, Spine and Flex – Kundalini, Recharge – Yin, and RESTorative.

Yoga Flow 

Everyone can do yoga and this class is a proof. This is a classic yoga class where a teacher would adjust every position to your abilities. Enjoy the movement, props, great music and the change.

ChoreoFlow 

The best way to develop your plasticity no matter where it is. Together with music, yoga flow and brain coordinating exercises you will never be the same.

Mindful Asana

In this class, your breath will guide you through an ever-evolving practice of awareness and compassion. You will develop strength, flexibility, and uncover physical and emotional tools for self-knowledge and healing. You will leave feeling expansive, relaxed and connected to the world around you.

Morning wake-up practice to align your energy and physical presence with the biorhythms and the flow. Get ready!

Kundalini for Goddesses

Women carry the weight of the world and in that capacity have the power to move it in a direction of our choosing.
In yogic tradition, the woman is called Adi Shakti which is the primal energy of force. Each woman carries this blessing. In this class we will study and practice self-awareness, tune-up our physical shape and learn to manage internal power.

“Enlightened”

“Enlightened” – for those courageous people who dare to turn on their inner observer and really go inwards to face their fears and imaginary “flaws” and transcend to the higher Self.

The practice includes energy management practices and vibrational techniques. Spiritual life coaching is included into this program. The focus of the class is intuitively chosen by each teacher. ESSENTIALS OF KUNDALINI YOGA – AWAKENING THE CONSCIOUSNESS Beginners are encouraged to attend, everyone is welcome! The focus will be on experiencing, in a systematic way, the breath-work, postures, movements, mudras, mantras, relaxation and meditation practices of Kundalini Yoga for transformation. We will explore the role of the subtle yogic anatomy (including the chakras, bandhas, nadis, tattvas, vayus, gunas and the ten bodies) in awakening the consciousness. “The kundalini experience does not mean you have gone into a deep breathless trance and are beyond this world . . . It integrates you more fully with reality and gives you a broader vision and sensitivity so that you can act more efficiently.” ~Yogi Bhajan

Tai Chi

Tai Chi Chuan is based off the physical energetic methods of Sung or deep relaxation and of Peng or dynamic elasticity, functioning as the structure, in all its postures and techniques, through which effortless power is issued and healing is enhanced throughout the body. Our core curriculum includes Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan Forms, Yiquan standing meditation postures, Silk Reeling exercises, Qi Gong breath work, also Bagua and Hsing-Yi to further develop internal practice.

Escrima

Escrima encompasses single blade/stick, double blade/stick, single and double dagger, sword and dagger (espada y daga), staff (sibat), empty hands striking, and ground fighting (dumong). The two systems of Escrima taught are Giron Arnis Escrima and Galleon Clan Escrima

Silat

Pencak Silat Panglipur is a traditional martial arts system from Indonesia. The Knowledge of Panglipur is a blend of large streams in West Java and West Sumatra, founded by Bapak Abah Aleh in 1909 at Garut, namely from a synthesis of the 5 major Pencak SIlat styles: Cimande, Cikalong, Syabandar, Sera, Kari-Madi. Pencak Silat Panglipur develops a healthy body, calm mind, the ability to defend oneself and family. The comprehensive curriculum includes: self-defense, breath work, yoga, physical conditioning and meditation.

Tae Kwon Do

Chung Do Kwan is a traditional style of Tae Kwon Do, Korean Karate, which means School of the Blue Wave. Tae Kwon Do is primarily a striking art, focusing on the practical application of blocks, kicks, and punches, for the purpose of self-defense. Headmaster Raymond Mondschein has approved the introduction of techniques from other arts, including Kung Fu forms with double daggers and with the bo staff.
